Maybe it's the fancy new apartment, maybe it's the fact my new roomie, Lisa, goes all out on Christmas and has decorated our new place with just about everything you can find in the holiday section at the dollar store--along with a very classy tree, I might add--whatever it is, I've definitely got some holiday spirit this year.
I wasn't really into holiday music until a few years ago when someone I dated brought me around through their sing-along qualities. Now that I have a car (YES I HAVE A CAR!!!) and can listen to the radio on my way to work, I've been taking full advantage of the around-the-clock carol channels, along with Pandora's holiday stations.
What I've come to realize? Well, having a boyfriend this time of year would sure help with the deep sighs that unconsciously come out of me every time I hear these songs:
I guess all I can really do is add to Lisa's decorations by peppering our apartment with mistletoe...
